Film-coated tablets by Bayer (Feminax Express) containing 342mg Ibuprofen Lysine (equivalent to 200mg ibuprofen) specifically formulated for fast relief of period pain.
Provides fast-acting relief from menstrual cramps, muscular pain, backache, and headache associated with periods; also suitable for rheumatic pain, migraine, dental pain, fever, and cold and flu symptoms.
Who it's for
- Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over who need fast, effective relief from period pain and associated symptoms
How to take
Adults, elderly, and adolescents 12–18 years: initially 1–2 tablets, then 1–2 tablets every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Swallow whole with water.
Who should not use this
- Not for children under 12 years
- Do not take if you have a history of stomach ulcers, perforation, or GI bleeding
- Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
- Are taking other NSAIDs or aspirin above 75mg/day
- Do not use during pregnancy without medical advice
- Use with caution if you have asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, history of stroke, or liver, heart, kidney, or bowel problems, or are a smoker
- Consult a pharmacist or doctor before use in these circumstances
